Bio
Krysten Nedd was born and raised in Maryland where she first found a passion for healthcare from experience working with her grandmother who was a nurse at the time. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing at Emory University and has gained a multitude of experience as a labor and delivery nurse at Northside Atlanta. She has also had the opportunity to work with women in a primary care setting during her undergraduate experience at various Mercy Care facilities and as a nurse extern in the ICU at Atlanta Medical Center.
Krysten has always been passionate about women's health, and as a labor and delivery nurse, enjoyed the process of caring for expecting mothers and ensuring they receive nurturing, holistic care. Seeing women have a positive birthing experience was an added motivation for her to achieve a masters degree in midwifery and women's health at Georgetown University.
Her goals as a midwife are to provide more positive experiences for all women and families in the prenatal and birthing process through education, shared decision making, and compassionate care. Krysten not only enjoys aiding women through the birthing process, but also thoroughly enjoys working with women in all aspects of life through adolescence to menopause.
When Krysten is not in the office, she loves cooking meals from different countries, participating in dance classes, reading new science fiction tales and watching Netflix! Krysten is now accepting patients at all Peachtree locations!
