Bio
Laurie has years of both OB and GYN experience. She started her midwifery career here at Peachtree Women's Clinic in 1998. Now, after many years growing her skills, Laurie has come back to us - or as she calls it, "returned home."
Laurie enjoys a full-scope practice as a seasoned certified nurse-midwife. Not only does she love helping women with prenatal care and guiding them through labor and delivery, she also enjoys following patients before, during and after their childbearing years. Also, because her first degree was in exercise and sports science, Laurie enjoys helping women with health and exercise during pregnancy and beyond!
When she isn't working, you'll find Laurie spending time with her very large, close-knit family. She is the youngest of six! She feels blessed and privileged to have them in her life. Laurie also has a huge passion for running and travels around the country as a member of the Atlanta Track Club Masters Elite Competitive Team as well as providing coaching services for the famous Peachtree Road Race!
