Bio
Desiree sees midwifery as a way to empower women during their pregnancy. She strives to provide every woman with a positive birth experience that includes a healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery.
Desiree also understands the importance of providing culturally sensitive care. If you practice pregnancy customs outside of typical western methods, Desiree will work with you to respectfully incorporate your traditions into our modern care.
Before joining Peachtree Women's Clinic, Desiree worked for a practice that provided maternity care to low-income Hispanic women. She is fluent in Spanish, which eliminates a language barrier for our Spanish-speaking patients. She is an all-around valuable addition to our staff with a wonderful bedside manner!
In her time off, Desiree enjoys cooking and spending time with family. She and her husband also enjoy traveling abroad. Together, they have travelled all across North Africa and Europe!
Desiree is currently accepting new OB patients at our Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, and Cumming locations.
