Dr. Kalia, originally from India, is now relocating to Atlanta to be closer to family. She considers herself blessed to have the best of 2 worlds - experience of practicing medicine in India and for the past 13 years in the US. A strong advocate of women's health and overall wellbeing, Dr. Kalia believes that work becomes passion if you enjoy it.
Her special interests include puberty and sex education and raising awareness about various health issues amongst women in every age group especially pubertal and menopausal. She is a North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP).
Dr. Kalia feels honored to be a part of a team of female physicians that provided a talk on puberty and safe menstrual practices to school age girls in India. She believes that being a woman is like being a beautiful, sophisticated machinery (much like Ferrari in Cars) that demands constant maintenance and care and that's where a gynecologist can make a significant impact in the lives of women of every ethnicity.
When not at work, Dr. Kalia, who is married to a radiologist, enjoys being mother of their 2 young children, Peloton workouts and her friends. She loves hosting themed parties for her friends. Travelling all around the world especially Switzerland and Egypt and doing standup comedy is in her bucket list.
