Michael C. Scott, MD.
Dr. Scott’s hometown is Alexandria, Virginia. He attended the University of Kentucky, to earn his undergraduate degree and finished his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. His residency was at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine.
Dr. Scott chose to work in OB/GYN because he believes it is one of the most rewarding specialties in medicine. The privilege to develop individual long-term relationships throughout all stages of a woman’s life is exclusive to this specialty. He enjoys delivering babies and facing the unique challenges that can arise in high-risk obstetrical and gynecological procedures.
His devotion to medical work and service to others has led him to volunteer for several medical mission trips. These trips have been some of the most rewarding experiences of his life. He has led and participated with teams from various organizations across the globe in such places as the Amazon, Ghana, Brazil, Bolivia, Nepal, Guatemala and Vietnam. He is married and has two sons. In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities, snow skiing, cycling, travel, golf and spending time with his family.Back to Physicians
