Michael McDaniel, MD

Michael McDaniel Portrait

Dr. McDaniel, a native of Dayton, Ohio, is truly a wolverine at heart. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan, and in a bold move, went to The Ohio State University for medical school. He traveled further south and received the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Residency upon completion of his training at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. McDaniel is a lifelong learner. At Peachtree Women’s Clinic, he is the supervisor for nuchal transluceny and first trimester screening for chromosomal disorders. However, his true passion is for people, and his commitment to women’s health allows him to develop and maintain relationships with his patients and their families. When he’s not at Peachtree Women’s Clinic, he has served with his wife at St. James United Methodist Church as a youth ministry leader and has volunteered as a medical liaison on two missions to Haiti. He has two children who mean the world to him, Brennan and Laine. He enjoys nothing more than spending time with his family, but occasionally he takes a moment to himself to enjoy music, fitness and going to the movies.
